Is my marriage valid?

My wife and I were married by a Baptist minister in 1992.
I was baptized earlier in a Baptist church, but my wife was agnostic.
Fast forward to 2008, my wife finally was baptized into a Presbyterian church (ugh…) and about the same time I converted to Catholicism.
Confused yet?
I am.
from everything I have read, it seems our marriage was not valid until just this year, but would like some other opinions.

Assuming there were no other impediments, such as prior marriages, your marriage is indeed valid and always has been.

While your wife was unbaptized, your marriage was what the Church calls a “natural marriage.” Your marriage became a Sacrament when your spouse became baptized.

This means that neither of you was a Catholic at that time, so neither of you was bound to Catholic form - meaning that, assuming this was the first marriage for both of you, the marriage was a valid natural marriage at that time.

Fast forward to 2008, my wife finally was baptized into a Presbyterian church (ugh…) and about the same time I converted to Catholicism.

As soon as she got baptized, your marriage became a Sacramental marriage.

It’s not really all that complicated. The bottom line is, you’re fine, and you always were fine.

Yes - this was our first marriage, both of us were 19.

Except for being a split religion household, I’d say we’re still going strong after 17 years.
