Is my nephew's Baptism valid?

To whom it may concern:

I have a concern re: my nephew’s Baptism. In Aug 2002, my mother and were the Godparents of my little nephew. I had only been baptized Catholic as an infant in 1974 and my mother had done her Baptism/First Communion/Confirmation a long time ago.

Is my nephew’s Baptism valid? If so, If the priest who performed the Baptism was convicted of sexual abuse afterwards, is it still a valid Baptism?

Dear Robert,

Yes your nephew’s baptism is valid. A priest’s personal state of soul does not affect the validity of the sacraments he confects (performs).
