Hi, I bought rosary beads in Italy. It seems as if there is a bead missing. There is a crucifix, a bead, space, three beads, space, and then a pendent. The Our Father bead seems to be missing. The church was Franciscan, so I was thinking maybe it was meant to be like that if they make them differently. There are a standard 5 decades, but that “missing” bead is the only difference. Should I get it fixed, should I just use it to pray and say the Our Father without the bead, is it meant to be that way? If there is a problem and I go to a relics showing and touch it to the relics, would adding a bead later change those graces. I apologize if this question isn’t up to par with other ones, but this is my first question. Thank you.

Hi,

You are missing a bead, but just say the Our Father with your fingers holding the pendent.
