Is non-abortifacient emergency contraception morally acceptable in this case?

Let’s say one night an unmarried couple had sex and knew it was sinful. Soon after they repent and are determined to amend their ways, and they go to confession.

In this case, would it be morally acceptable to use emergency contraception so as to prevent a new life from coming into existence?

Please answer soon if you can…
 
Dear friend,

Despite what abortionists say, there is no such thing as non-abortifacient emergency
contraception. Emergency contraception is still contraception. The sperm and egg have united. There already is a child even though the fertilized egg may not have attached to the wall of the uterus. Such an act could could not possibly be anything but the taking of innocent human life. You and the child are in our prayers.
