Is not wanting to watch the Super Bowl a Sin?

It’s a scary thought, is it not? 🧐

I have a habit of doing very close and fast fly by’s if I see an eagle perched on top of a utility bowl with his back turned towards me. It’s all in good fun, though. They deserve it and more, anyways.

There was a symposium at the Vatican on sport when JP II, think it was him, was pope.

Sports is a good thing when kept in proper perspective.

Jesus never once spoke of sport, though, in the Gospels, but Paul liked the metaphor of running the good race. (Something like that.)

Don’t worry. I didn’t watch the Super Bowl either. Mainly because the TV decided to fail us and refused to broadcast other than four channels. We had an awesome meal though. 🤩

I’m afraid I prefer not to watch sport…I used to enjoy watching some Soccor
at one stage.Olympics and Commonwealth games are very enjoyable if you can get the right coverage.

Being from Philly, game being over, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS. Let me say this to you, put down whatever it is that made you ask that, get some sleep, get up and say 'O NO I DIDN’T then pull the covers back over your head.

For those in nj and philly–it’s free coffee at dunkin donuts today, in honor of the win!☺️

I have no interest and am not sure if I should feel guilty about this. What do you think?
No, it’s not a sin. I always tease that I’m only in it for the Halftime Show. But I’m one who actually enjoys the Super Bowl and am glad the Eagles won. But I have a friend who has no interest whatsoever in it. And she’s a Patriots fan.

God is a Patriots fan…Eagles fans should go immediately to confession in fear and trembling…

Nope. God’s an Eagles fan. That’s why eagles have wings. To be closer to Him.

Before that, it was called the Food Bowl and puppies and kittens went running around the field to find their dinner bowls.😆😆

Eagles have wings because they wanted to be like Hawks. Pretty sure.

OK fine, go ahead and throw seriousness and truth into this discussion.

I still think the Boston Redwings could teach them how the game is played any day of the week.

And just as a side note, the Steelers are still the only franchise with six rings and the only to win 2 consecutive SBs on two different ocassions.

A close game is always so much better. I’m glad you all were not disappointed.

I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make by quoting, out of context, a post I made in another thread. 🤨

It’s at me because I said I wasn’t going to watch it, and I then I did.
