Is oral sex inside marriage wrong?

i have a few friends who are debeating this issue at the moment and as far as im aware it is ok as long as not used as a form of contrception. can anyone add anything to this? has the church got a teaching on it or is there any scripture to say its right or wrong?

Oral sex as well as any perversions to the sexual act is morally wrong. Oral sex is a very special type of sin; it is referred to, as well as some other sins (e.g. homosexual acts, et al) as “a sin of Sodom,” or Sodomy, based off of Gn 18[BIBLEDRB][/BIBLEDRB].

Marriage is the union of a man and a woman; the two become one flesh. Any sexual act that is not within the confines of marriage and is not open to new life is a sin. Any sexual act that is not open to new life degrades your spouse to the lowly position of a a sex toy.

I do believe that I’ve heard that if it’s just used for foreplay, then there’s nothing wrong with it. The actual climax must happen in the woman to still be open to life.

diesel, it might be a good idea to post this in the moral theology section of the forum as scripture doesn’t get into it. Personally, and this might be just me but I don’t think its a good idea, it just seems morally wrong and seems to go against the natural law and as far as Im aware it increases the risk of infections.

Ask yourself these questions. Do you think that oral sex is an expression of love toward your spouse? Is your spouse the focus during the act, or is your own stimulation the focus? Is it love for your spouse that prompts the act or selfish lust? I would be very careful when it comes to sexual behaviour as it is always something Satan wants to pervert, See Exodus 32, numbers 25, Lev 18 and Lev 20. Another thing is that there is also the possibility of spilling seed, a man named Onan did this in Genesis 38 and lets just say, God wasn’t very pleased.
I’ve heard a well known priest say it’s ok for foreplay only, but I’ve heard other priests say the opposite. Read the following article from ewtn.
