Is our world built top-down or bottom-up?

In a top-down world of science, information, knowledge and wisdom flows from an upper-world to lower worlds; in a bottom-up world, science, information, knowledge and wisdom is built from the bottom-up.

I contend that our world is top-down, especially for “science.” A bottom-up world is an illusion. A dollar bill has a pyramid with an ‘all seeing’ eye at the top. I believe this has a lot of information on how our world works.

I would never equate the words “science-information-knowledge”…with wisdom. Wisdom is a way of SEEING into the layers of reality…starting with the recognition that there is a God Who is greater than I…“The fear of the Lord is the begining of wisdom.”

(Faith is also a way of SEEING and is closely related to Wisdom).

Wisdom is eternal…Science is merely our accumulated ORDERING of what we see and have seen throughout history. Hence, science has an entire history of partial sight and mistaken seeing (we used to leech blood from sick people).

Therefore, may I suggest to you…Wisdom and Faith are “top down” as you put it…Science is bottom up.

Most people would say the ‘science’ is bottom-up, but I say it’s top-down.
 
the better way to ask the question is, what is our civilization founded on… God verse Godlessness…

Is it a God founded society based on Gods will, of Family is the structure the Civlization is built on.
Other nations the people have little but their existence, but they are content, they apreciate Life, their lives and life itself, children.

In what you deem as modern world, people have luxury, but they dont appreciate it, nor life, in the modern world the people Kill the children in fear their wont be enough luxury for those that already exist, a great selfishness exists.

IN a God filled civilization Family is the foundation, its common knowledge those that follow Jesus/God will find Intergrity, Clarity, and Harmony.
What more could you ask for? Not peace, health, wealth, or science. Seeking God, finds that which we would want for not ourselves, but for generations to come, true freedom…

A godlessness society is what Russsia has sought, and Europe for ages, and now the American seeks, to be devoid of God as the foundation, no family, no intergrity, clarity, or harmony…

God Created the world, he would and does know, but our free will wants to often go its own confused and superstitious way…

that is why the Universal Catholic Church started Universities, to Educate people to exit from Darkness.

Today we want to slip into a great superstition of Godlessness, wars of hate and revenge, fictional economics, and great supertition of education to live in a Godless ignorant society devoid of God, devoid of harmony, intergrity, and clarity. failure.
 
God and Family is the key to success and freedom of a true freedom filled society of Truth… anything else is the path to failure, and hell.

'if you dont believe in Hell, you will when you get their" why mince words?

Yes, that’s what i was thinking, but I still believe that their may exist upper-worlds from where science and technology flow.

What do you mean “top-down world” (emphasis on world, since there is only one of these) and flows from what upper-world to what lower-world?

If science and knowledge flows from God, it would be a top-down theory of our world.

I see. So a bottom-up theory of our world would then be we humans invent something, then pass it off to God? This latter hypothesis is clearly off.

Regardless of what you would consider a bottom-up approach, I disagree with this false dichotomy you present. God gave Man faculties capable of reasoning; from our God-given ability to reason, knowledge comes to us.
