Practising Catholics should be seen as both rigid and radical. Rigid because we will not compromise the truth. Rigid because we will not compromise our lives and morals and activity to conform to many of those in the secular world. Radical because we are the minority, we believe something radically different to that of the secular world, and even other religions, and we radically choose to practice this belief. For example, Mass or the game on a Sunday, Fasting and not eating a good Texan BBQ on a Friday night.

Go ahead and call me rigid and radical. It means to me that you see me as living differently to you because of my beliefs. I am getting something right in following the law of God.
