Is passionate kissing a sin?

Please help, I’ve tried asking this question several times, but it’s never been answered. Is passionate kissing a mortal sin, and if so, where has the Church defined this.

If you won’t answer the question here, can you please let me know how and where I can search for Church documents that would help me find the answer to this and other questions.
