You don’t give them privacy!! What do you say, oh sorry, you two finish up, I’ll talk to you later!!
How about teaching them respect for others and for themselves. How about teaching them to respect their future spouse, (which in most cases not the person they are making out with) by not bringing a lot of baggage into the relationship. Why not teach them how God feels about sex.
Let me tell you what happens when you give teenagers privacy…my sister did this with her kids…oldest daughter had 4 kids before she was 21…youngest daughter just had her first baby at 18, but you know, kids will be kids, what are we to do…
you set limits, you set rules…you then enforce these rules…this is how it would work if I walked in on my kids making out with their boyfriend/girlfriend…discussion immediatley with both of them of what is not permitted to happen and why…date will then go home…they will not be left alone again and said child would have to prove that we could trust them to do the right thing before being allowed to go out on a date again…Is it harsh? you bet!! I’m not here to be my kids friend, I’m here to parent them and get their souls to Heaven. These children are on loan to me from God, that’s not something I take lightly!!
