Is putting oneself in a near occasion of sin a sin in and of itself?

Thank you so much Bookcat and everyone else for your kind responses and thoughts 🙂 I went to the beach yesterday, and everything went fine 🙂 I hardly felt any anxiety and I was really able to enjoy myself. God bless all of you
