Good evening,
I was baptized in my early 20’s in a baptist church. Was married to a wonderful catholic girl girl in my early 30’s and have been attending our Catholic Church church with her for 18 years…I say ours because although not Catholic it seems like a home church for me. All this time has passed and I still am not Catholic. I have studied the catholic religion for many many years…it is where I know I belong. Enough time has passed, the days of ok I’ll do it later are gone …I want to take communion yesterday. Question ,which I have been getting different answers…Do I need to go through RCIA…fully, partially, at all ?do I just need to go to confession, can I have a meeting with a deacon or priest ? Can I only become Catholic at Easter? Again, I know this is where I want to be…no doubts. Is RCIA 100 percent required? Thanks for your brief education.
