Is Recreational Marijuana Use Sinful?

Hi, this is a matter which has confused me for quite some time. According to the Catechism, #2291 “The use of drugs inflicts very grave damage on human health and life. Their use, except on strictly therapeutic grounds, is a grave offense.” Now, this seems to state that all drugs can inflict grave damage on human health and life, and while this is true with the majority of commonly used recreational drugs, marijuana seems to be the exception. From my research, marijuana is basically harmless, in contrast to tobacco smoking and the drinking of alcohol, neither of which are considered intrinsically evil by the Church. My question is, is the recreational use of marijuana sinful? Thanks for your time!
