Is sanctity of Life a Divine Truth?

This is a relevant question for today,
If one was killed either proclaiming that abortion/euthanasia is wrong, or even actively protecting an innocent victim from abortion or euthanasia, such as Mary Wagner does.
Would that constitute martyrdom?
Would that person go directly to heaven?

Did that person have faith in Christ as their saviour? Did that person do good deeds during their time on Earth?
 
Suppose they were protestant, or a Catholic apostate/ stopped going to mass…
