So please tell me how alcohol is not considered a drug but marijuana is considered a drug.
Let me list some things:
More harmful to the body: Alcohol
More harmful to society: Alcohol (how many innocent people get killed by drunk drivers)
Weed is safer and does not disorient you in the same way that alcohol does. You don’t get a false sense of confidence when smoking weed like you do from alcohol which means you are a lot more likely to break laws and do dangerous things while drunk.
**So how is alcohol not a drug but marijuana is? Just answer that question because it seems like you have been avoiding it. **

I would vote YES, it is sinful…
because its illegal and alters your consciousness…
but i think small amounts should be legal for SOME people… those who have glaucoma or whatever… Also if someone is dying, he should be allowed to have it… Ok, maybe not… i’d have to think about that one… cuz a person dying needs to be thinking of Jesus and i think marijuana interferes w/ a person’s… well… probably a lot of things… thinking, probably even spirituality…

The argument is not changing. It’s an example as to how Evil moves and spreads. From the “arguments” I read in this debate, the proposed “super drug” would be OK because the CCC did not specifically name it.So now your argument is that if all drugs were legalized than the mob would then create a new super drug that would automatically be illegal, though all other drugs were legalized?

The alcohol in beer is a drug. It may be used in accordance with the teachings of God, of the Magisterium of The Catholic Church (including the Catechism), Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition.
