Is spiritualism contrary to Catholicism?

My husband has recently started to attend a local spiritualist church, and had been involved with mediumship and healing sections. I am really worried about this, should I be?

If I spoke to my parish priest would he speak to my husband to discourage him from going because he wont listen to me.
