Hello everyone. This question is about Catholic church history.
I have recently learned of a saint who is recognized in the Eastern / Orthodox churches… called “St. John the Soldier” (I believe he may also known as “St. John the Warrior”).
As most of us know, some saints are recognized by both Catholic & Eastern Orthodox churches… and others saints are not (because after the churches separated from each other… they canonized saints separately).
Does anyone know (or have the historical / church resources to check)… if “St. John the Soldier” is recognized as a canonized saint in the Roman Catholic Church?
Thanks…
