yes, we have free will, but that means freedom to chose what is right, what God intends for us, to carry out the purpose for which we were created. It does not mean license to act like spoiled children, reject God’s gifts, and destroy those gifts for ourselves and others.We take it into our own hands to determine everything that we do. Every choice that we make, even if it is a choice to follow what we believe to be the will of God, is a choice made by us.
This is merely one more of those: why should it be any more offensive than any of the others?
Any choice that harms ourself or others or dishonors God is offensive.
