I voted Yes & No.
No because it appears that on the Mainland there are new TLM’s Masses growing, albeit slow, but non the less is showing growth.
Yes because in my diocese the most we have even heard is in the negative. The parishioners run the parish I live in. Our priests are on loan from the Philippines & are rotated every 2 years. There is only one TLM parish in our diocese & there are about 300 parishioners there.
In all fairness to our Bishop (ordained in 2005) who has attended this TLM Mass after coming here. I did read where he had requested a FSSP priest come and teach him to say the TLM & did say it at our Cathedral on the main island. I have also heard that he would allow the TLM at any parish IF the priests would also say the OF Mass. The poor Bishop inherited all liberal priests. But believe me, THERE ARE NO TRADITIONAL PRIESTS IN HAWAII, save one at the only TLM Mass on the main island.
