i have seen some Catholics have tattoos of our Lord and Lady…some non-Catholics even have bible verses tattooed on their bodies…

Tattoos are wery usual today,I would say that it is not a sin as suchs. It depends on where they are,and what they are. To tattoo our Blessed Virgin or Christ is maybe for the one who takes it a importen thing and they see nothing wrong in it,aswell as it comes to Bible verses. I think we can agree that it is not a sin,but it ain’t right neither,it is not maybe the best way to show our faith and even if they who takes them do it in good faith,they go a bit over the line,they mean well,and wont to show “the whole world” how strong faith they have. But I can’t recomend it. To wear crosses or a crusifix or a picture of Virgin Mary is a better way.
I want to go a bit deeper in to this,the best way to show our faith is not only in what we wear on us,how we live means a lot moore. I want every christian to wear a crusifix or something,but I say also that LIVE AS YOU BELIEV.

There are many good answers from both sides. The Church does not teach it is a sin; however, some interpret scripture to say it is. I personally believe as long is it is respectful and you are proud of it, it is not a sin. Jut my :twocents:
