I am confused. Isn’t there a rule stating that we must not eat at least 1 hour before is it mass or receiving the Eucharist? And is sucking on a breath mint/peppermint considered a violation of the rule? Please advise me about the 1 hour rule for either mass or receiving the blessed Eucharist.
I am not a Catholic yet as I am taking cathechism classes in order to be confirmed a Catholic in the Spring. I can’t wait. In my heart I am already a Catholic because of my strong belief in the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church and all of its beliefs.
I am a married former Church of God pentecostal whose husband is totally against the Catholic Church and what it stands for. I am praying constantly to Mother Mary, all the saints, and angels for his and my daughter’s conversion along with my 2 grandsons.
God bless you,
