I think that sin is underestimated. It is a conspiring force like an anti holy spirit. It recognizes its own and spreads like a airborne disease. That is the immediate threat. If we can’t overcome it in Jesus, then we are in trouble when the antichrist is revealed. Tim

You are right when you say this. The anti-Christ will not appear until sin has increased. This will make the world in a way cause the manifestation of the anti-Christ, otherwise the world could not bear to have him manifest amongst them.

How I hope someone comes along and drives out all forms of New Age from our Church. I know Jesus will ultimately do this, but I really do hope someone with standing would start this process now and not tomorrow.

Next thing we will do away with kneelers and all sit in the lotus position with empty minds to celebrate Holy Mass!:mad:

Let the New Agers be new agers, let the Buddhists be Buddhists, let the Toaists be Toaists, that is their choice, but let the Catholics be Catholics.

I have always had a fear when I read in the Bible’…even the elect will be deceived…’. Now what and who is the elect? Is that not us? I believe the anti-Christ will imitate all of Jesus’ works here on earth…people will get caught up in the lies. We all know that Satan could imitate all the works of Jesus and even deceive the mystics…this is scary stuff…scary only in the sense that I continually pray that I do not lose the Faith!🙂

Even my Priest said he fears he will find he had shaken his (anti christ) hand as a friend. Stick to the basic’s. In combat terms “stay static”.Tim

Is the Antichrist afoot? NO.

Why?

This idea does not fit with approved Catholic prophecy, that is the extra-biblical stuff given by the mystics and Church Fathers.

What needs to happen first?
  1. The Minor Chastisement.
  2. The Era of Peace or the “New Springtime.” (a complete restoration of the Catholic Church on a world-wide scale)
  3. The Reign of the Great Monarch and the Holy Pope. (2 and 3 coincide).
  4. When the Great Monarch DIES, the Reign of Antichrist comes immediately after, as his kingdom is ursurped by the AC.
  5. Then when AC dies, it is likely the Parousia will occur shortly after.
Will the Man of Sin come during our lifetime?

Maybe, depending on your age and depending on how long the era of peace lasts. The Era of Peace will last anywhere between 50 to 500 years. If the former, then you could live to see the Reign of AC. The Era of Peace will not come until Russia is converted.

I don’t care much about the AC. I’m worried about the Minor Chastisement! It will seem like the end of the world. Will take seven years to bury the dead. Possibility of a comet? Nuclear war? Or both? The level of severity is conditional, depending on prayer, penance and conversion.

The Era of Peace comes after the Minor Chastisement. The world of mass production and consumption crumble because there just aren’t that many people left (survivors) to support it. People return to the land and live simply.

It is said during the Minor Chastisement, many nations will sink, while the ocean floors rise. This new land will be very fertile and clean. What gives me the willies is the CAUSE of this rising and sinking!

The one big sign of the beginning of the Minor Chastisement is a civil war in France and Italy. That’s the really big sign.

Anyway, my concern is the Minor Chastisement, not the AC.

Don’t mean to scare anyone.

The source of my information is Trial, Tribulation and Triumph, Before, During and After Antichrist by Desmond Birch. You can get it from Queenship Publishing. This book uses ONLY approved prophetic sources.

And they’re scary in and of themselves! Yikes.

About Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda … he’s a fake anti-Christ in my opinion.

The real Antichrist will be of Jewish descent and the first ones to follow him will be the Jews in Israel, who will declare him the Jewish Messiah.

The AC does not have a Tejana accent. The Jews would also NEVER declare him Messiah because the dude is not Jewish … and … well, the accent is a big turnoff for him being a candidate for the King of Israel.

BUT … I do have to say … the theology of Miranda does fit into my idea of what the “great religious deception” will be. That is, Miranda’s theology does fit with prophecy.

Though Miranda’s theology jives with the “religious deception” described in the prophecies of the Church Fathers, his lineage does not. His first followers are not Jewish. He is not rising out of Israel as “the Little Horn.”

Where’s he from? Mexico? South America?

He is a fake Antichrist, BUT don’t underestimate him . He is VERY dangerous, both to his own followers and to real Christians.

Don’t underestimate the power of a cult leader such as this.

It amazes me that he is so popular! Why anyone would choose this complete buffoon over Jesus Christ is beyond my understanding.

Fr. Kramer does not say that Christ will reign in his person, but a Eucharistic reign. His book has the imprimatur of Joseph M. Mueller, DD. Bishop of Sioux City, Iowa, January 26, 1956. The Vatican commented on millenarianism in the late 1940’s.

Russia has already been consecrated so what’s the difference? Another thing, there will be a pope during the AntiChrist’s reign.

I am not following your statement about Russia being consecrated, please explain. There will be a “False Prophet” who is either an antipope or is like a pope in appearance. Yes, there will probably be a Pope of the true church also.

St. Malachy has a line of successors to the papacy leading up to the final pope. It is seen as a vague analysis but nonetheless has been read by millions of Catholics.

The final pope, according to St. Malachy will feed the flock in the final days and he will be named “Peter II.” That would seem the Church has come full circle from Peter I to Peter II. Maybe so?

Father Kramer said that the reign of the Anti-Christ would be under the guise of communism. Communism has already fallen in Eastern Europe. Plus he takes a historical approach to Revelations, it doesn’t work. I read your thing on the Apostacy, to many loose connections.

Not quite. Kramer’s book on Revelations was written in the early 30’s. Simon Birch noted in one of his sources, in the book Trail Tribulation and Triumph, that a lot of Kramer’s ideas were millenarianistic. Which is why I pay no attention to Father Kramer. I get the impression that Kramer is like saying the AntiChrist is around the corner. That is not a fruit of the Holy Spirit.
 
Hello there first let me say-I teach scripture and have for the past 4 yrs after graduating from bible school.The Book of Revelation is probably the most misused ,misunderstood and most difficult book of the Bible to get a hand on. John of Patmos never speaks explicitly of the Antichrist in revelation. It is mentioned in johannine epistles. Epistles were written by a different “John” then Revelation.Secondly we have our own personal judgment when we die- why worry about the Second One. It was I believe St. Augustine who said that in one way or another we are all antichrists when we sin against Him.St. Augustine also said that the 1000yrs was a symbolic number.There are so many symbols that it is very confusing.Remember also"apocalypse"style of biblical writing which we see in the book of Daniel.Apocalypses were written to give hope to the hopeless that everything will turn out all right in the end. Revelation has been often called the book of hope.Unlike Evangelicals we are not literalists but see scripture literal and in a symbolical manner.never take revelation at face value
