Is the ascension of Mary biblical?

I was talking to a friend who is Methodist,about the blessed mother.I told him that she assended into heaven and he said he had never heard that and wondered where it was stated in the bible. That is my question. Where does it say in the bible that the Blessed Mother assended into Heaven?
