Is the Bible a sacramental?

My Bible says on it “Holy Bible.” My question is, is this object of bound paper pages holy by the very nature of being a Bible, or would it have to be blessed and become a sacramental to be really “holy”?

I mean, to me its holy because the word of God is holy. But what about Bibles that aren’t Catholic, are they as holy? What does holy mean, really?
 
I would say that it is not a sacramental unless it has been blessed after a sale. Bibles are sold for a profit, and any sacramental sold for a profit looses its sacramental properties.

Ah, this makes perfect sense. Is it holy then? Or is it just a normal book with a holy message in it?

My priest once said that blessing Bibles was entirely redundant since, because it is the very Word of God, Who is Christ, it can’t get any holier than it already is! (Although, I suppose a Holy Bible with anti-Catholic commentary throughout its pages could probably get a bit holier…;))
 
A Sacramental is generally something along the lines of a Rosary, or a Scapular, or a Statue, Crucifix, etc. etc. However, a Holy Bible is holy in it’s own right. It is the inspired word of God. Priests do bless Bibles, however, the blessing does not make it “holy” it merely reiterates the sacredness of the text and blesses the actual “book” being blessed, not the word of truth it contains. So is it a Sacramental? No. Is it Holy? Yes.
(In answer to your question, Holy means “Sacred” and Sacred means anything set apart for a special purpose, in this context, a Divine purpose ^_^)
