Hisalone,

You said (on the other thread):
Thank you for your honesty most Catholics would not say that tradition is more important than scripture yet by their decisions they demonstrate it is.
You’re right, we wouldn’t say that. Why would we say something that isn’t true?

People wrote the bible , or am I wrong !!
So , who can proof it is ??

You are wrong!!

Men put pen to paper, or quill to papyrus, but they only transcribe the Truth, they didn’t create it.

The Holy Scriptures are the Word of God who is Jesus Christ as revealed by the Holy Spirit to men who then wrote it down.

You have the Truth imprinted in your soul by God who created you.

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!!!

Mark

Yes.

Hisalone,

The Bible is neither above Tradition nor below Tradition; rather, the Bible is central to Tradition. (Similarly, the 4 Gospels are central to the Bible.)

I would suggest reading The Gift of Authority.
When you subject scripture to the authority of tradition you place tradition above scripture.

You have the Truth imprinted in your soul by God who created you.
Ok , no further argument about this , you know why !!

So , someone writes a book , let’s say realdisturbed murder-one , like , mein kampf ??
Even you will agree that such book
a complete atrocious cruelty for mankind !!
How people get such bad ideas in their minds ??
