Is the Catholic church the bride?

I am beginning to learn about the bride of Christ and was wondering if you think the Catholic church is the bride of Christ or is that a bunch of people outside of the church’s because in the scriptures it says that Jesus will travel along the road and pick people up for the wedding feast of the Lamb?
