I think that this is the source of a lot of these sites…There are probably others.
But, I think that the point is, there were, in fact, women in history who were martyred, some by crucifixion. Only, if someone is hellbent to prove that Catholics worship Mary, the artworks that show one of these women are used as ammunition.

I’ll tell you another sad thing about this…Not only are the militant antiCatholics insulting Mary, they are actually disparaging some remarkable saints who gave up their lives rather than desert their faith in Christ!!

That website is pathetic and full of lies. The KJV of the bible has many errors in it, not the least of which it refers to “unicorns” many times.

Mary is the Queen Mother, if Jesus is the King. Mary is the Ark of the Covenant of the New Testament, since her body held the Word made flesh for 9 months. Mary is blessed among women, and we are commanded by the bible to call her blessed, in Luke 1.

I will never understand why Protestants hate Jesus’ mom so much, at the same time they claim they love Jesus and his Father. Talk about hypocrisy.

Not all Protestants “hate” Mary, but most of them have at least an “allergy” to her. I could tell a personal story of an event during a non-denom biblestudy/prayer group I belonged to for a couple of years, consisting of men who truly did love the Lord, who reacted almost violently when the idea of venerating Mary came up. One guy got up and walked out.

This is a sign of the heresy. A Christian who refuses to venerate Mary appropriately is a heretic, and undoubtedly has a distorted perception of Jesus, and certainly is separated from Jesus’ Church.

On that link, the writer tried to compare how Catholic worshiped Mary as God…and probably from his conclusion, he or somebody tried to come up what Mary would’ve looked like if someone worships her.

The picture above does not have the blue banner at the bottom - they just added to it.

I feel so bad for these people. They have no idea that they are wasting the gift given by God to them - for them to know God and now they are so deceived by Satan and trying so hard to bring divisions among Christians.

A friend of mine when he’s discussing politics, says " Paper doesn’t refuse Ink " meaning don’t believe everything you read.

And like-wise canvas doesn’t refuse paint, I don’t know who painted it, but I’ve never seen Mary depicted this way, and don’t agree with the stigmata on the pic.

This looks like someone has painted it to be malicious, If so, don’t they have anything better to do than bash the Catholic Church, like get on with their " faith." instead of wasting their time bashing their heads off of the “Rock”.

BTW are you refering to the picture below when you’re talking about the wounds!!! Exactly i don’t feel comfortable looking at the picture. There are picture that make me feel peaceful and nice, but they are some just i can’t even take a look at it…Sorry…Probably this picture of Mary just doesn’t make me feel peaceful

We are not worshiping Mary, but we have great relationship with Her. We understand Her more than any protestant could. That is the reason why the pictures of Mary with wounded hands (stigmata) is a flaw - from someone who was trying to bash Catholic.

To us, Mary is our Mother and as a mother of Jesus. I know you might think mother of Jesus but not of God. Whomever she is, she is still the mother and felt great pain when Jesus was killed. She also knew very well that Jesus was dying on the Cross for all of us. She knew it all along and we all could tell, she had been always with Jesus to His last breath.

It has been prophesized that:

And thy own soul a sword shall pierce, that, out of many hearts, thoughts may be revealed.

The pictures of Mary with stigmata is from someone who is trying to bash Catholic. Yes, it is ashame for those who hate Catholic so much.

It could be from an atheist; however, have you ever known any atheist having problem with us loving Virgin Mary.

Besides, only sites that I could find the pictures displayed so far are those who hold their anti-Catholic behaviors.
