I just had a revelation!

I wounder if they got the idea from “Sister Mary Stigmata”?

That’s not a picture of Mary. I think it has been faked, changed to look like a picture of Mary…
I have been trying to think why it looks familiar, & I think I have seen it:eek: in relation to Voudoo & Santeria…You know how, sometimes, there are pictures made, or statues, of pagan “gods” & “goddesses”? I think that may be what this is…
I would like to believe that the person who is spreading this around is merely decieved, but ther are folks who just love to stir things up, by creating deceptive books & images…
Believe me I will try to find the originator and challenge them.I may not be Catholic, but I do take this very offensivly and I will do my best to find them and make sure that they know it.

Bless you!! This is indeed a very offensive thing to do. I am glad to hear that you are on the job here…The fact that you are not Catholic may actually help you to get some information…
 
Can anybody read the writing in the lower right hand corner of the picture? (The one with the blue banner, I mean?)… I think it starts with “s”, but I can’t read it…
If this is the painter’s name, we might be able to track this down a little more…

I still say, this looks like a picture I have seen of a pagan deity. I seriously think that somebody is playing head games with people…Some a/c sites are unbelievably nasty.
I just wonder if they have taken a picture they found & altered it to make it look like…Well, I don;'t think it looks anything like Mary. But I can see where someone who wasn’t used to the usual way that the Blessed Virgin is shown, might think that this was something that would fool people…

I have never seen anything quite that weird. It’s like they were trying to make her into a monster. (The eyes are creepy…everything)…

I hope someone gets to the bottom of this. I have been trying to remember where I saw this.( I really don’t want to have to go check in with our local :rolleyes: Druids, in order to put a name on this!!)
 
OK…I just got back from that Jesus is Lord site…I do believe that there is a commandment about taking our Lord’s name in vain, & that is the worst… Bllecchhh!!
But it is full of garbage, a lot of people maybe should just let it be. My blood pressure is through the roof, & I’m not even Catholic…
