Is the consecration valid if the priest does not believe?

I was in an adult class at church and was told that if a priest refuse to believe that Jesus is present in the Eucharist during the consecration then He is not there. If the words and actions are correct, but the priest does not believe, does the bread stay bread?

Daer John,

If the priest has doubts or even if he has lost his faith, the consecration at the Mass he celebrates is valid IF HE INTENDS WHAT THE CHURCH INTENDS.
