I have a rosary that was blessed by the pope. If I take the Crucifix off of it does it retain the popes blessing?

Also, is a blessing by the pope more “powerful” than a blessing by a regular priest or is it the same.

What makes you think the pope can make stronger juju than a simple priest?

Hey, stove- why are you taking the crucifix off?

None of my biz, just could not help but ask.
Would Mary want you to do this?:confused:

The rosary is very delicate and I like the crucifix on it so I wanted to take the crucifix from it and put it on the rosary I use everyday that is not so delicate and put a different crucifix on the delicate one.

If you take home Holy Water home from the Church’s original receptacle doe’s it retain it’s original Blessing ?
I’m sure a possessed person wouldn’t want to come near any of the objects, broken or not.

It’s still Blessed broken or not, thats why we either bury or burn broken Scapulars etc;

There are special Papal Blessings that you can request from Rome, Marriage Blessings etc; I can’t imagine the Blessing on the beads being all that different.

I suppose some like to be able to say El Papa Blessed this or that, but all Blessings come from God so I can’t for the life of me see the difference.
