I Corinthians 11:23
11 For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over, took bread,
24
and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
25
In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
26
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes.
27
Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily will have to answer for the body and blood of the Lord. 12
28
A person should examine himself, 13 and so eat the bread and drink the cup.
29
For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment 14 on himself.
30
That is why many among you are ill and infirm, and a considerable number are dying.

Don’t confuse when Jesus speaks on our behalf in his humanity, and who it is that is revealing the Father in heaven to our humanity through his Son incarnate. To contemplate this great mystery, is to have ears to hear and eyes to see, for those who are members of God’s flock hear his voice. Hear Jesus speak this revelation;

John 10:25
Jesus answered them, **“I told you 12 and you do not believe. **The works I do in my Father’s name testify to me.
26
**But you do not believe, because you are not among my sheep. **
27
**My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. **
28
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand.
29
**My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, 13 and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand. **
30
14 **The Father and I are one.” **
Or did Jesus simply bow his down in humility and worshipped God because The Massiah knows that Allah is greater then he is?

cont;** The first Mass after the resurrection of Jesus from the dead**

Luke 24:15
And it happened that while they were conversing and debating, Jesus himself drew near and walked with them,
16
7 **but their eyes were prevented from recognizing him. **17
He asked them, “What are you discussing as you walk along?” They stopped, looking downcast.
18
One of them, named Cleopas, said to him in reply, “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know of the things that have taken place there in these days?”
19
And he replied to them, “What sort of things?” They said to him, “The things that happened to Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,
20
how our chief priests and rulers both handed him over to a sentence of death and crucified him.
21
But we were hoping that he would be the one to redeem Israel; and besides all this, it is now the third day since this took place.
22
Some women from our group, however, have astounded us: they were at the tomb early in the morning
23
and did not find his body; they came back and reported that they had indeed seen a vision of angels who announced that he was alive.
24
Then some of those with us went to the tomb and found things just as the women had described, but him they did not see.”
25
And he said to them, “Oh, how foolish you are! How slow of heart to believe all that the prophets spoke!
26
Was it not necessary that the Messiah should suffer 8 these things and enter into his glory?”
27
**Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them what referred to him in all the scriptures. **
28
As they approached the village to which they were going, he gave the impression that he was going on farther.
29
But they urged him, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening and the day is almost over.” So he went in to stay with them.
30
**And it happened that, while he was with them at table, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them.
31
With that their eyes were opened and they recognized him, but he vanished from their sight. **
32
Then they said to each other, “Were not our hearts burning (within us) while he spoke to us on the way and opened the scriptures to us?”
33
So they set out at once and returned to Jerusalem where they found gathered together the eleven and those with them
34
who were saying, “The Lord has truly been raised and has appeared to Simon!”
35
**Then the two recounted what had taken place on the way and how he was made known to them in the breaking of the bread. **
36
9 While they were still speaking about this, he stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
37
But they were startled and terrified and thought that they were seeing a ghost.
38
Then he said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do questions arise in your hearts?
39
10 Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you can see I have.”
40
And as he said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
41
While they were still incredulous for joy and were amazed, he asked them, “Have you anything here to eat?”
42
They gave him a piece of baked fish;
43
he took it and ate it in front of them.
44
**He said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and in the prophets and psalms must be fulfilled.”
45
Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures. **46
11 And he said to them, "Thus it is written that the Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day
47
and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
48
You are witnesses of these things.
Does He even give instructions how mass should be celebrated?

I was not subliminally degrading nobodies faith! I am just speaking the truth. If Jesus Christ is God then God is man. That must mean that God must be made of what man is made of. And what is man made of? I dont think I have to answer that.

I know exactly what the Catholic Church teaches. But when I used to attend holy hour, I see bread locked inside a glass. My simple question was: the bread that is inside that glass, is that actually God Almighty who created the heavens and earth. If so, then I agree with you. This is blasphemy, and if the Church is wrong you have no excuse in the hereafter. Anybody who is sane and decides to worship the God of the worlds and eaccepts his Prophets and does good deeds should be entered into paradise because that is only logical way to enter heaven.

May Allah guide you and me.
Ismail,

You either hurried in your statement above or you’re making an error in logic. “If Jesus Christ is God then God is man”

If J is a member of G, it does not follow strictly that G is M’

Please be more specific and distribute the middle term.

And to your stark claim that you know exactly what the Catholic Church teaches, I have substantial doubt, as I don’t recognize its teaching in your writing. Your understanding is at best incomplete and in my opinion substantially faulty.

May God’s Peace and Joy be with all of us.

I have another good question. How many times does Jesus even mention the doctrine of Eucharist throughout the 4 gospel. Does He even give instructions how mass should be celebrated? Or did Jesus simply bow his down in humility and worshipped God because The Massiah knows that Allah is greater then he is?
He instructed them at the Last Supper.

THE CELEBRATION OF THE CHRISTIAN MYSTERY SECTION TWO
THE SEVEN SACRAMENTS OF THE CHURCH

CHAPTER ONE
THE SACRAMENTS OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION
ARTICLE 3
THE SACRAMENT OF THE EUCHARIST
1322
The holy Eucharist completes Christian initiation. Those who have been raised to the dignity of the royal priesthood by Baptism and configured more deeply to Christ by Confirmation participate with the whole community in the Lord’s own sacrifice by means of the Eucharist.
1323 "At the Last Supper, on the night he was betrayed, our Savior instituted the Eucharistic sacrifice of his Body and Blood. This he did in order to perpetuate the sacrifice of the cross throughout the ages until he should come again, and so to entrust to his beloved Spouse, the Church, a memorial of his death and resurrection: a sacrament of love, a sign of unity, a bond of charity, a Paschal banquet ‘in which Christ is consumed, the mind is filled with grace, and a pledge of future glory is given to us.’"135
I. THE EUCHARIST - SOURCE AND SUMMIT OF ECCLESIAL LIFE
1324
The Eucharist is "the source and summit of the Christian life."136 "The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch."137
1325 "The Eucharist is the efficacious sign and sublime cause of that communion in the divine life and that unity of the People of God by which the Church is kept in being. It is the culmination both of God’s action sanctifying the world in Christ and of the worship men offer to Christ and through him to the Father in the Holy Spirit."138
1326 Finally, by the Eucharistic celebration we already unite ourselves with the heavenly liturgy and anticipate eternal life, when God will be all in all.139
1327 In brief, the Eucharist is the sum and summary of our faith: "Our way of thinking is attuned to the Eucharist, and the Eucharist in turn confirms our way of thinking."140

The Mass of all ages
1345
As early as the second century we have the witness of St. Justin Martyr for the basic lines of the order of the Eucharistic celebration. They have stayed the same until our own day for all the great liturgical families. St. Justin wrote to the pagan emperor Antoninus Pius (138-161) around the year 155, explaining what Christians did:

On the day we call the day of the sun, all who dwell in the city or country gather in the same place. The memoirs of the apostles and the writings of the prophets are read, as much as time permits.
When the reader has finished, he who presides over those gathered admonishes and challenges them to imitate these beautiful things.
Then we all rise together and offer prayers* for ourselves . . .and for all others, wherever they may be, so that we may be found righteous by our life and actions, and faithful to the commandments, so as to obtain eternal salvation.
When the prayers are concluded we exchange the kiss.
Then someone brings bread and a cup of water and wine mixed together to him who presides over the brethren.
He takes them and offers praise and glory to the Father of the universe, through the name of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and for a considerable time he gives thanks (in Greek: eucharistian) that we have been judged worthy of these gifts.
When he has concluded the prayers and thanksgivings, all present give voice to an acclamation by saying: ‘Amen.’
When he who presides has given thanks and the people have responded, those whom we call deacons give to those present the “eucharisted” bread, wine and water and take them to those who are absent.171

Jesus instructs us how common bread and wine are substantially changed into His flesh and blood. The remainder of the Mass is taken directly from the bible itself.

Jesus IS God and God IS Jesus. Its a reality you are not ready to cpmprehend.

Peace

so with that said, God (Jesus) was raised up to heaven to sit next to God and then God comes back again as a spirit, and then also comes back and manifests Himself in a piece of bread? So now not only do Catholics believe that God has male characteristics and attributes and male parts, but in the same time He becomes something for the human body to consume and…?

But let us consider this. If all Prophets worshipped the Unseen because they all believe God is nothing like what He created then Muslims and other God seekers are doing absalutley nothing wrong. Because Jesus Christ Himself didnt stand behind a glass and invite others to kneel before him and worship him. Only Catholics do this.

And if the Catholic church indeed is the wrong faith then you have no excuse. and if Islam and any other religion that seeks to submit to God also can not be seen as a crime towards to God. But the biggest crime somebody can commit is idoltary or associate partners with God Almighty who created the heavens and the earths.
Certain unnamed parties need to read more Augustine and Aquinas. No man can understand completely either the trinity or transubstantiation, especially not one outside the Church.

The Eucharist can be found prefigured even in the Old Testament; as manna in the desert, at Passover, and when Abraham attempted to kill Issac (God himself will provide the lamb) as well as other places. It is also present in each and every gospel, most especially in the sixth chapter of John. It is present in the epistles. Basically it is present throughout the entire Bible.

Jesus gave us very special instructions concerning the Eucharist, in fact, we use his very words during the concecration. He then commanded us to do this in memory of Him. Christ himself also gave us instructions for the liturgy of the Mass when he spoke with the disciples on the road to Emmaus. First they recalled the Scriptures (the readings), then Jesus explained the Scriptures to them (homily), then they broke bread together and he vanished from their sight, yet that is when they recognized him (Eucharist). There, you have the liturgy of the Word and the liturgy of the Eucharist; the Mass.

I have a good question for you! What are you doing here? Do you really want to learn or do you have other motives? :onpatrol:

Yes.

We know that Jesus is God because He said that He and the Father are one, and called Himself “I AM”, and can forgive sins. Also, St Thomas called Him “My Lord and my God!”

We know that Jesus said that the Eucharist is His Body and Blood.

The Church teaches His Body and Blood can’t be separated from His divinity, so the Eucharist is Jesus’ Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.

After the Consecration, there is no bread. The Eucharist only looks like bread, but it IS Jesus.

So yes, the Eucharist is our God because the Eucharist is Christ physicall present.

from my understanding when I was Roman Catholic is that during mass the host turns into the body and blood of Jesus. Now if Jesus is divine according to Pauline Christianity ( I say Pauline because not ALL early Christians worshiped Jesus) that has to mean that the sliced bread is God Almighty. Is it obligatory for Catholics to acknowledge the host as their Creator?

To make the question more simple. When you go to holy adoration, do you go before your Creator who in reality is the Unseen but in this case manifested Himself into bread? To be honest with you I did worship the eucharist ( or at least tried to) and I did acknowledge it as my Creator and the Creator of the whole world. What I did, was that the right thing to do as a Roman Catholic?
No idea what made you accept Islam, a religion which denies the death of Jesus on the Cross, which is reaality, but made false in Islam, but what I liked in your queestion was that you being a former Catholic still has some Christianity remaining in you ie you said Holy Adoration, ie you considered the adoration as HOLY. May God you better understaning .

God Bless

Actually it was an angel!
Ex.3
2And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
3And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
4And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

That angel was the Lord and He wasn’t the bush He appeared in the bush.
