Be Blessed,
I mean no disresect here and am not sure if this subject is ‘ok’ here or not, but I have been very interested in this discussion and related research lately.
I assure all I have no motive here other than to have the benift of opinion. I would very much like to hear the opionions for the posters here, but would ask we all police ourselves for respect of others, and maturity in the dialouge.

Knowing the god of abrahams name is yahweh , just ask a muslim what their gods “name” is.

Ive heard this alot… I guess its your point of view. If you say that the god of muslims is not the god of christians… Then the god of christians must not be the god of the jews… therefor all 3 of the faiths worship 3 distinct gods. Which i know alot of people would not say is true, but that would be the case.

I say that because we as Jews just like the Muslims reject the Christian concept of the Trinity. Therefor if the Muslim is not worshiping the same god as christians because of the trinity issue or because of many other things related to that… Then the Jewish community around the world would also be worshiping a different god then the christians because we reject those theories as well… That would mean from my point of view that christians were worshiping a false god.

But thats not the case in my point of view… In the bible one of the letters sent to the churches as the person say that when he became a christian he did not believe he was worshiping a different god then before… he just had a different way of seeing god… I think that is the same case here… Even though Jews, Christians, and Muslims follow different prophets and scriptures. They all in the end worship the same god. Cause each religion has a different way of seeing God thats all. But of course there will be people who say that is false. That is there problem and they will have to answer to god for there ignorance, but we just see god in different lights thats all, and yes we worship the same god (jews, christians, and muslims).

I’m going to have to agree with this point you made, I think we are all seeing God in a different way, just depends on what you’ve been taught I guess. But how dissapppointed God must be these days to see all of His children fighting over HIM. I gotta say I feel pretty horrible for Him as he watches what goes on in this world. Forgive us all !!!

And how disappointed Christ must be with his 64,000 seperate groups of followers…

Moses, thank you for you answer - very helpful. It seems obvious the trinity would be a stone on which this will trip…
My question was about the God of Abraham - the God that spoke to Abraham is the God that Christians whorship - in there way. Is this the same God of Mohammed?

Peace!
