Because some of think we should be lawfully allowed to slaughter our own unborn children at will, I find it hard to believe that humanity will be able to continue the pursuit of social justice. If the unborn, the elderly, and the " vegetative " can be mercilessly deprived of life, why would it even matter to, for instance, stop a war. While I know of many groups and individuals worthy of positive attention, humanity as a whole seems to have lost its capacity for moral greatness.

Mary says that we are worse that at the time of Noah. Unless the world repents of its sins, especially abortion, the chastisements are in store for us.

If we do not listen to God, then we have to feel. God’s justice is part of His mercy. Purification is a way that leads us to salvation. However, there will still be some people who will curse God. Those people freely choose hell rather than repentence and God’s love.
