How could the Kiss of Peace be negative in the OF if it is executed with the right decorum and brevity? Seems like some people are dead-set against the KOP no matter what and cheer when it’s not part of the Mass (allowed) at a given location. I find that very sad and lamentable.
Yes we all have horror stories of it being poorly executed, but to universally condemn the KOP seems as though it would require not really understanding the purpose of the KOP.
That’s one of the few places where EWTNs daily Mass really blows – eliminating the KOP.
