Is the marital act after menopause sinful?

A previous question was answered that the marital act must be unitive and open to the conception of children. It seemed implied that if children could not be conceived because of “old age”, the marital act should not take place. This doesn’t sound right to me. Clarification would be greatly appreciated.

“Open to life” is a phrase that is used to mean that the individual is not actively trying to prevent a pregnancy and would be willing to accept any child that came about from the marital act.
In the cases of infertile couples or those who are no longer capable of being fertile they are doing nothing that prevents the procreative aspect of the marital act. Everything that they are doing is right, the fact that the act cannot result in a pregnancy is outside of their control, therefore there is nothing sinful taking place.
