Is the Old Testament completely fulfilled?

I am having a discussion with a Protestant who says that some of the Old Testament prophecies are yet to be fulfilled (From Daniel). I thought that the Old Testament was fulfilled with Jesus Christ. Any references on this fact would be great!

The Catholic Navarre Bible Commentary says of Daniel 7:9-14 basically that it is a foreshadowing of God’s judgment if that helps. So I guess you can say that hasn’t been “fulfilled.” From God’s perspective, Christ fulfilled everything, I suppose, but we who travel the lineage of time must “wait.”
 
Prophecy in the Biblical sense does not = a prediction of the future. A prophecy is a message from God. This means that a prophecy is not necessarily a one-off and then it’s done kind of thing. The prophecy to Hezekiah which we all know as “the virgin will conceive and bear a son” was not ONLY about Jesus - it also specifically spoke to the timing of God’s judgment in that generation. So too with many other prophecies, both OT and NT - they are alive-and-active and can be fulfilled-and-awaiting-fulfillment. So too with the prophecies of Daniel - some may have been fulfilled during the Incarnation, some are fulfilled daily in the Mass, some may await fulfillment in the Eschaton.
 
Jesus fulfilled the mosaic law, but there remain unfulfilled prophecies (e.g, the second coming of Yeshua/Jesus), the regathering of Israelites to the promised land (some/I see the state of Israel as a partial fulfillment of this) and a saving coming to faith of Israel through faith in Yeshua/Jesus in the end times (forshawdowed/foretold in Zechariah 12 and reiterated/interpreted that way by Paul in Romans 11).
