Are there passages in the OT that prophecy the Second Coming?

Good Question, Marco Polo. I understand that it does but it is veiled to the understanding for sure.
Isaiah 61:1,2 are the verses that Jesus quoted when he was preaching at the synagogue in Nazareth (Luke 4:18,19) and read from Isaiah but did not complete the sentence in the 2nd verse, only read the first half: v.2a (KJV) “To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord”, leaving out v.2b " and the day of vengeance of our God;… I understand that he was saying that He first would come first as Savior and would later come as Judge. Isaiah has this “day of vengeance” not only in 34: 2,8 when he is talking in the context about God’s wrath on the nations, but also repeats it in chapter 63: 1-4 where the prophet is writing about end times events, and the judments of God. The same terminology is used in Rev 16:18-20, the harvest of the grapes to be thown into the winepress of the wrath of God and repeated in Rev 19:12, 15 where it describes the Savior’s garments being stained in blood from the treading of the winepress of his wrath.
Zecheriah 9:9 is perhaps clearer when in ch.9:9 it talks about his first coming (‘riding upon an ***, and upon a colt, the foal of an ***’) in Jesus triumphal entry into Jerusalem and later in ch.12:10-12 he addresses the second coming when his people the Jews will see Him (‘shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and shall mourn for him as one mourneth for his only son’…) and all the remnant of Islrael shall repent, family after family. This is reinforced in Isaiah 59:20,21 when the Redeemer is come to Zion (Israel) to clean the trangessions of the remnant that repents, and will set His Spirit upon them, just as believers have the Spirit now (New Covenant prophecy of Jeremiah 31:31-34).
The Book of Daniel 7:13-14 describes the giving of the Kingdom to the Son of Man by the Father (Ancient of Days) once all the allowed gentile empires are judged and His kingdom is to be an everlasting dominion that shall not pass away or be destroyed.
Other than these I know of no isolated verses from the OT that define the second coming in unveiled terms. Some others may respond and give us more anwers later.

I have read that reading the OT prophecies is like viewing a distant mountain range. It looks like one range until one gets closer, NT, and sees that there are two, and one has only reached the first.

Part of the reason for the Jew’s rejection of Jesus is because they could not separate the “suffering Servant” from the “Reigning Messiah.”
They thought it would happen all at the same time, not realizing that there is a time span between the two.

**Zechariah 14:1-21
A day of the LORD is coming when your plunder will be divided among you.
I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.

Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

On that day there will be no light, no cold or frost. It will be a unique day, without daytime or nighttime—a day known to the LORD. When evening comes, there will be light.

On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea and half to the western sea, in summer and in winter.

The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name.

The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up and remain in its place, from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses. It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.

This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. On that day men will be stricken by the LORD with great panic. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other. Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected—great quantities of gold and silver and clothing. A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.

Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain. If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

On that dayHOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the LORD’s house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the altar. Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the LORD Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD Almighty.**

Are there passages in the OT that prophecy the Second Coming?
If you have a Bible concordance, concordize the word “day,” and proceed backwards through the Old Testament, beginning with Malachi, and you will see what you are looking for.

Yes, including Apocryphal references to Enoch in the Epistle of St. Jude that would predate all the writing prophets.

Basically, we have the following:
The promise of defeat of the devil by the Redeemer (Gen 3:15);
The promise to Abraham of the Seed and the divine inheritance;
Jacob’s prophecy over Judah (Gen 49);
The Davidic Covenant (this is really the key to almost all Messianic prophecy);
The Hebrew concept of the Day of the LORD (final reckoning);
The Wedding between heaven and earth, Messiah and Chosen People (Isaiah 62, 66);
The prophecies of Daniel’s Son of Man;
Zechariah’s vision of the deliverance of Jerusalem at Armageddon (Day of the LORD);

When we look at the overlap between the Davidic Covenant and the Day of the LORD, we see (in hindsight through Christ) that the Second Coming places ‘David’ (Jesus Christ) at the center of the prophecies. The Lord proclaimed the ‘reign of God.’ Very clearly, this is an OT image of David and Solomon as King of Kings. Jesus gives the ‘reign of God’ its full eschatalogical meaning yet never distances it from the Davidic Covenant. Gabriel tells Mary that Jesus will ‘sit on the throne of His father David’ and that his kingdom ‘will have no end’ (lit. ‘He will rule over the House of Jacob forever’).

Psalm 2 places the Son of David as scion over all nations, judging them with great wrath and insurmountable power and authority. St. Paul borrows the Apocryphal image from [unknown source] mentioned in St Jude:

II Thess 1:
7And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 10When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
St. Jude:
14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Joel also sees this:
10The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
11And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
Blessings,
