Is the Solemnity of the Assumption a day of obligation for Catholics?

is the Feast of the Assumption a Holy Day of Obligation. It was not mentioned at my mass last Sunday.
 
Hi,

Yes, the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary is a holy day of obligation and Catholics are required to attend Mass on that day (Wednesday, August, 15).
