Is there a connection between *dabar *and zera`?

Is there a connection between Word and Seed (person)?

I am looking for any and all kinds of help or ideas.

Not sure exactly what you are asking, or looking for, but the Gospel’s of Matthew 13, Mark 4, and Luke 8 all talk about sowing the ‘seed’ which is reference to sowing the ‘Word’ of God. Just my thoughts!
 
That is exactly one of my points of interest.

It seems, as you pointed out, that Word and seed are closely related in the New Testament.

I suppose that they must be closed related in Torah.

I do not have the time to read or study, but perhaps some person already knows the connection, if there is one!
