I know there are different discussions for example I am part of a vocations and those discerning the priesthood one I was wondering if there was one for the latin mass
Oh I know what you mean. Like a group message on CAF. I’m not sure if there is one. If you want to create one though, I don’t see any problems. I would join.
I have an old “St. Joseph Daily Missal” which has the Latin on the left side of an open page, and the English on the right hand page, if that’s what you mean by “discussion.”
Oh, that’s would be a good idea because anytime a thread is started about the Latin Mass, it turns into a fight with those who don’t even attend. It would be nice to have something for people who actually attend and like it.
It is so confusing why people dont like it. I take Latin at my school and am failing it but I still love the mass and the language. It is so much more reverend. The sight of the vestments and the church and the altar the sound of chants the smell of incense. You are immersed fully in the beauty and majesty of the church. I wish I could go every week but they are the ones in my archdiocese are in to reach locations and the parish I go to daily which is great we have great priests is the one my mother teaches CCD in which is greatly needed. Before my mother and couple of other people came. I could have done a better job teaching one of the teachers did not even know where Jesus was born. Another was promoting the awful book The Shack and read from a children’s bible all day. But thank God that those days changed and proper catchesis is being taught my mother talks alot about the saints. But I kinda rattled off my point is that I cant go to the mass every sunday because my mom teaches CCD though I go almost every Holy Day of Obligation.
