Is there a moral difference between an illegal and a legal abortion?

no, not at all

an abortion is an abortion is a murder

if we follow the laws and teachings of our Church, there is no such thing as a legal abortion

Are you saying there’s no such thing as civil divorce and remarriage?

It happens all the time.

The law of any given church is NOT the basis of civil law.

Civil law is a joke, it is a fleeting puff of smoke, it is almost meaningless, it is of no consequence AT ALL IN THE OVERALL VIEW OF ETERNITY

What happened to the Romans law, or the Greeks law, or the law of the Moors…

**The only law that matters is the Law of God!!!
**
Murder is murder, if you are murdered by the Civil authorities, is it correct?

Ask the slaves in the US from the early 1800’s when the “Supreme Court” called slavery legal. Would their torture and deaths be ok because it was “Legal” (ie. approved by lawyers who are mostly the dregs of society!!!)

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!

Is it less morally offensive if it is outlawed?
Hi pennsylvan,

I’m trying to understand what you mean here. Why would it be less immoral to break a law?

Did you mean to ask “Is it less morally offensive if abortion is legal?”

Or to use your construction, “Is it more morally offensive when abortion is outlawed”?

Is that what you meant?
