Is there a novena to St. Gabriel?

Thanks, Frances - this is just what I was looking for. Greetings from home! Do you know that the relic of St. John Vianney’s heart is coming to your old parish October 7-11, accompanied by the
Bishop of Ars? I know a lot of folks think this relic is “barbaric” and “gross”, but I can’t wait! I think we’ll all get a special blessing just by venerating it!
 
I had the chance to venerate a relic of St Aloysius Gonzaga on his feast day earlier this year … it was a wonderful opportunity.

What a special and blessed occasion that will be, Ken; wish I could be there!! (Please think of me for a moment when you are venerating this precious relic.)

I venerated the heart of St. John, went to confesion and Mass with the holy Bishop of Ars (Guy)!

I saw a picture of the Saint’s heart in the reliquary and it is truly amazing. What a profound experience this must have been for you.

Ken, I too am a former parishioner of Cure of Ars, Merrick. That was my parish for 30 years! I now live in Florida.

I was excited to hear that the relic of St. John Vianney was coming to the parish. We used to celebrate his feast day in a special way every year.

I’ll have to get in touch with some of my friends there and ask them about this.
