Is there a one designated Angel of Death?

Is there an angel designated as The Angel of Death" and where else has it been active in the Bible other than as bringer of the last Egyptian plague and even in times since the Bible was established as is by The Church? Have any saints or mystics talked of it?

According to Eastern Christian visions about what happens at the moment of death, the soul is met by two angels: her guardian angel and the Angel of Meeting (which, I guess, you can consider the Angel of Death).
