Alfie:
Archeologists have found letters written by Christians as early as 332 A.C. In those letters Christians quote New Testament scripture to each other. That was before the RCC was supposedly founded. The Catholic Church did not write the Bible.
The Catholic Church was founded in 33 AD, on the day of Pentecost. We do not claim to have written the Bible, we know our members wrote the New Testament, inspired by the Holy Spirit.

God bless,

You are right, but let’s give credit where credit is due.
Without the numerous monks and nuns who, by hand, transcribed the entire bible into different languages – for centuries before there were printing presses – none of us could have the Bible we have today.

Without this great sacrifice and dedication by Catholic religious, those who profess Sola Scriptura would have *No-la * Scriptura. 🙂

👍 In that sense I suppose you could say that throughout history, many dedicated Catholic religious did “write” the bible. 😉
