Is there a protestant version of this forum?

The level of discussion in this Forum is generally intelligent, thoughtful, well-reasoned, and charitable (even though the very raison d’etre of apologetics is controversy). In general, threads stay fairly focused on their topics…

I have visited some protestant boards and have not found this to be the case. I have not found a protestant forum where thoughtful people generally have intelligent, focused conversations.
As an amateur Catholic apologist, it’s all well and good to hang out in friendly territory at catholic.com. But where on the internet can I go to spread the news about the Catholic Church to those who are not aware of what they’re missing?

You MUST BE JOKING! I have visited that site before - it is among the WORST of the sites I have visited.

Are you putting me on, or are you really saying I should have another look???

WE have a "unique" relationship with them now. It’s along story and I am way too tired, but hearts are softening there and the dialouge is getting better. Catholics have definately dug in and have created a presence there this past week. There are some excellent discussions going on concerning the Blessed Mother. It’s still staunchly anti-catholic but it’s probably a little better than you remember it. Anyhow, just a suggestion!

I just jumped over for a brief look. It did not seem anti-Catholic to me. Surely there are some anti-Catholics there, including a familiar name, but if is not biased in the basic set up.

EDIT - Okay, I had to go play there a little.

Well…I would not say it’s to friendly toward catholics, but the dialouge is getting better. I am starting to think that the catholics are contributing more lately looking over things!

There is one familiar anit-Catholic I that’s really bad. In balance, some of the Catholic posting is obnoxious. I am not registerin yet, but I do not want to be anonymous, either. I’ll see if Scott LaFrance can find a fish for anyone who can guess my signon

Here are a couple of web sites that I found in a search. I am not advocating them in any way. I’ve spent no time there, so I couldn’t even if I wanted to. Cannot say whether there is any anti-Catholic sentiment floating around in there either, but given human nature and man’s penchant to staunchly defend his territory, it’s possible you may experience some. My apologies in advance!
