Because most saints lived and died prior to modern psychology its very difficult to definitively say if someone truly had OCD. However some saints are believed to have suffered from this condition. Therese of Lisieux is believed by some to have suffered from OCD and has been unofficially called a patron saint of OCD. St. Dymphna is the patron saint for those suffering from mental afflictions and St. Ubald Baldassini has been linked by many as a patron saint of OCD.
