🙂 hi every one up here it is -47 degrees Celius with the wind chill factor. we are in a rural area 10 miles from the church others are farther.our parish priest must travel 40 miles from his home parish to say mass.is this a valid reason for not having mass or travelling for mass? thanks for your (name removed by moderator)ut
I’m a little south of you in Minnesota. We had -27F actual, -51F with wind chill, Father thanked all of us for being at Mass that morning. I certainly didn’t have to travel 40 miles though, you have quite a brave priest, I would deffinately be thanking him for his dedication. sure hope he drives a reliable car.

hi all in relation to the last post from minnesotta. no he wasn’t that brave mass was cancelled. now we have a new issue. while doing some wood work our priest had a an accident he cut 2 and a half of his fingers off. at last count he was in good spirits and hopefully will be celebrating mass soon.

That kind of weather here in south Texas would keep everyone off the road. I don’t know if even our homes could take it.

our pastor celebrated mass yesterday he was very happy that he lost his fingers!!why one may ask? it has been his experience that when ever some suffer befalls him that God always gives him something better later.so he felt it would be something big after this incedent. and after 4yrs of typical canadian gov’t he has finally has been given his citizenship papers.yeah!!!
