Is there an archangel named Uriel?

I know of the three angels mentioned by name in the Scriptures, but I’ve been wondering about Uriel. From what I have been able to learn, for a long time Uriel was indeed recognized as an angel, one of the seven principle angels who stand before God. Is this true?
 
The four angels mentioned in the canonical books of the Bible are the archangels [Michael (http://www.catholic-forum.com/saints/saintm06.htm) (“Who is like God?”), [Gabriel (http://www.catholic-forum.com/saints/saintg03.htm) (“The Strength of God”), [Raphael (http://www.catholic-forum.com/saints/saintr02.htm) (“The Healer of God”), and Lucifer (aka Satan). Uriel (“The Fire of God”) is mentioned in a couple of apocryphal books of Jewish origin.
