BOTH

There are 40 hour devotions

Exposition services for “public” Adoration

And some truly BLESSED parishes have Adoration chapels

Spend as much time as you are able in ADORATION; you ARE in the very Presence of Our God

Blessings

We have an Adoration Chapel open daily and it is maintained by laypersons so we never have benediction.
Upon Exposition in the morning we sing “O Salutaris Hostia.” Just before Reposition in the evening we say the Divine Praises and finally close with “Holy God We Praise Thy Name.”

At 10 am each day we say the Rosary, at 3 pm we recite the Divine Mercy Chaplet. There are 4 other ‘special’ hours of prayer during the week.

We have a Holy Water font at the entrance of the chapel so most people who come for Adoration bless themselves when they enter and genuflect or bow before the Blessed Sacrament. Some people kneel in the aisle before entering their pew. A few people prostrate themselves before the Monstrance before doing so. Most folks do the same going as they did coming.

I kneel on both knees and bow forward with my arms and hands extend out in front of me. I say" My Lord My God My All…"

Are you asking what you are supposed to do externally? Generally, go down on both knees and bow low in adoration before entering or leaving the church, and remain kneeling while in the church. There’s not particular liturgical ceremony, unless you are talking about Benediction or the Forty Hours Devotion.
