Pax et bonum !

Is there any official church statement about the International Christian Embsassy of Jerusalem?
In other words, has any one come across with these people, their thinking and deeds?
If yes, any idea how to face their noble idea of spreading the news of the importance of Jerusalem without any reference to the church teaching?

I mean, their views seems to be out of the church teaching for the simple fact they never cite in their texts “the roman Catholic church” or never quote any church document or any saying of the Church fathers to support their noble idea about the importance of Jerusalem. They only quote the Holy Bible or that they were inspired from “above”.

In practice, I came across with this oraganization through my my sister who is a fan of this ICEJ and is spreading their magazines to the local catholic church :-(, is also praying with her children in hebrew and her husband is wearing on his head white “cap” (kippah) which the Jews wears :-(, at the same time she is going for a Holy communion at the Holy mass. However, she constantly refuses to talk about her views. In rare occasions, thought, (which took maximum 5 minutes altogether), has said that she believes in Jesus as a God but only what is written in the Bible and not in the church teaching, because it is changing over time all the time. To define what church teaching she is not believing in, she is not able to answer and always stops the conversation that she has the freedom not to answer !!! …
In other occasion( again the conversation took maximum 5 - 10 minutes) she is able to say that everyone believes in what God has revealed to him and that there is no absolute Truth. To my humble comment that Jesus said “I am the Truth” she again stops the conversation and refuses to explain why she just contradicted this saying of our Lord.

Hope my question is clear and many thanks for any of your views.

Gaude, Maria Virgo! Cunctas haereses sola interemisti in universo mundo.

If she thinks that Church teaching is changing, then she needs to provide evidence of that. There is development of Doctrine, but Church Dogma cannot, and does not change.

Thank you for your comment.

As it is quite hard to communicate with her, as she refuses it, I just wondered, if anyone else has an experience with this ICEJ?
My sister is part of it and I am just wondering if all people from ICEJ are so unwilling to talk and share their views as my sister does. That´s all.

Chrpenka.―I have never met a Christian Zionist face to face, but sometimes people of that persuasion post comments on one or two websites that I look at regularly. My impression is that their ideas on the future of Israel derive mainly from the book of Revelation. They seem to be broadly supportive of the Jewish state, but not for the same reasons that other Christians are. Aside from their specific focus on the prophecies to be fulfilled in the Middle East, their theology and ecclesiology seems to be closer to Calvinism than to any other recognizable form of Protestantism.

Here is the ICEJ website, if you think it can help you in your difficult family position:

BartholomewB - Thank you for your comment. Yes, the seem to be very “strange”.
Would you send me please the websites with their posts? Just that I get the idea what (un)logical track they seem to follow.

Imagine, that my sister announced that she will be on Christmas Eve singing carols to Jesus Christ at home, but that she recognizes Him only as God what is written about HIm in the Holy Scripture and not what is teaching the Church. … To me it is as if she cuts off the head of infant Jesus and that she is singing carols only to this dead head, because Jesus is clearly head and the Church tho body !!!

If I can ask for your prayer to make a right decision whether to visit her as she lives with our father in our father´s house … or rather as Our Lady with Joseph to fly into Egypt from the Herod´s murdering.
Hope you understand.

Many thanks and God bless you.

If she is denying the teaching of the Catholic Faith she should not be receiving Communion.
